Charmette Dr. Wanza D. Sermons-Lee has been a member of The Charmettes for 37  years.  She has served as National Executive Director, National Parliamentarian, and as her Chapter's President.  Dr. Sermons-Lee earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Clothing & Retailing from Florida A&M University, a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Education in Instructional Leadership.  She was employed as an educator in the Palm Beach County Public Schools.  Charmette Sermons-Lee is honored to have been mentored by one of our founders, as well as a charter member.

Charmette Dr. Angela Douglas has been a member of The Charmettes for 15  years, during which she has served as Vice-President, Historian, Assistant Secretary and currently Parliamentarian of her chapter.  She served as National Reporter 2022-2026. She was the Chair of The Charmettes, Inc. 75th Anniversary and 70th Diamond Jubilee National Convention held June 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida.  Her undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and she obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center located in Memphis, Tennessee.  She is the Pharmacy Director for the Shelby County Health Department in Memphis, TN. Charmette Douglas is daughter, sister,  cousin, and mother of fellow Charmettes.  She and her husband have two children.

Charmette Dr. Sabrina Nelson-Winters has been a member of The Charmettes for 5 years. She served  as a member of the Health and Wellness Committee in 2022, Lead Page for the 67th and 68th National Conventions,  nd Chief of Staff for the 69th National Convention. Sabrina served as Recording Secretary and President for Chapter. Her outstanding service noted being nominated for the 2026 Spirit Award and is the 2027 Eunice W. Thompson Merit Award Recipient. Charmette Sabrina Nelson-Winters is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She owns Best Solution Anesthesia Services, LLC.  Sabrina is the daughter of the Late Charmette Luvator  Henry Nelson,  wife and mother of one daughter.

Charmette Keturah I. Howard is a dedicated member of The Charmettes, Inc., with 13 years of committed service and leadership. She has served her chapteras President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Reporter, and Technology Chair. A devoted educator and leader with more than 25 years of experience, Charmette Howard holds a B.A. in English Literature from Florida State University and master’s degrees in Reading Education from Florida Atlantic University and Educational Leadership from American College of Education.  She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she has served as Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Assistant Financial Secretary and current Assistant Treasurer and Ritual and Ceremonies Chair. Charmette Howard is the daughter of Charmer Jack and Charmette Patricia Howard.

Charmette Rev. Audre’l Davis-Jones has been a member of The Charmettes for 14 years.  She has served as National Historian and as her Chapter's President.  She has studied Fashion Design and Merchandising at Miami-Dade College and The American College for the Applied Arts in Atlanta.  She is an ordained minister in the Christian Methodist Episcopal denomination and is an author and Advocate against Domestic Violence. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Battle Scars Ministries, Inc. Charmette Davis-Jones is married and is the mother of two children.

Charmette Tara Paramore, a proud Miami-Dade County chapter member, joined the organization in 2007. Over the course of her 19 year membership, she has served as the chapter’s secretary, historian, President and currently serves as its treasurer. Her chapter recognized her dedication by presenting her as its Spirit Award recipient in 2018. A Hampton University graduate with a BA in Political Science, Charmette Tara has taught hundreds in the Archdiocese of Miami School System as an elementary school educator for the last 18 years.Charmette Tara is the mother of two and grandmother of five beautiful grands!

​Charmette Sala Powell-Dabney has been a member of the Richmond Metropolitan Chapter of the Charmettes, Inc. for 25 years.  She has served as Chapter Business Manager, Reporter, Vice President, President and currently serves as Chapter Historian. Nationally, Sala served as National Reporter, the 68th Convention Co-Chair and the 69th Convention Chair. Sala  is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and other professional memberships.She has been the owner of “Soft Impressions Photography” for over 25 years. She especially enjoys photographing Charmettes’ events to capture “The Stories” for years to come. Sala received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Arts from Union College.  Sala is married and  has blended family of one Charmette daughter, four sons, and one grandson.

Charmette Leila Bailus has been a member of The Charmettes for 15 years.  She has served as her Chapter's President, Secretary and Parliamentarian. She was her chapter's 2022 Gwendolyn Baker Rodgers Spirit Award recipient. Charmette Bailus holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Howard University and is Chief Financial Officer at BGMG (Bailus Goulbourne Management Group), a family business.   She is the proud granddaughter and mentee of a former National Treasurer and is the mother of one daughter.
